Show me someone who thinks Sarah Palin is an idiot, and I'll show you a moron

$12 million dollars, a Fox News gig, a speaking gig, a NY Times Best Selling book and ranking in the polls of 2012 presidential contenders later, there are some who still think Sarah Palin's not smart. I'm no genius. But considering that she has also been a city councilwoman, a mayor, an oil and gas commissioner, a governor and the first female Vice Presidential candidate to run on the Republican ticket, I would hope that I wouldn't be ignorant enough to think that someone with all of that on their resume isn't very intelligent.

Only a moron would be stupid enough to call Sarah Palin an idiot.

I know this is going to be hard to comprehend for those on the left.  But I will try to use small words and make it as simple as I can. Read slowly now so you don't hurt yourself:

Because someone disagrees with you politically does not make them an idiot.

I understand that some on the left like to delve deep into their Cornell University trained minds to intelligently weave together a valid and intellectually honest argument as to why they may disagree with Sarah Palin. It takes a wordsmith, a cunning linguist, a master of many tongues to piece together a lyrical verse like "that woman's an idiot." Whoa. I'm convinced now.

If your America is a seedy place - increasingly secular and morally and intellectually bankrupt - you might even see an "idiot" like Sarah Palin as someone who endangers that America. Family values, deep seeded patriotism, a belief in American exceptionalism, work ethic and a belief in a Creator who endows us with our freedoms has got to scare the living daylights out of those who would back those who believe that we need to "fundamentally transform the United States of America."

Fundamentally transform it into what? Pottersville?

You don't know Phil Brookes. He's a guy I worked with. We would have political debates which always ended up with him getting frustrated at not being able to win me over to his side. Our arguments always ended with him saying "you're an idiot."

When confronted with the inability to rebut an argument with a logical counter argument, liberals always deteriorate into personal attacks. It means you're out of ammo.

Keith Olbermann: Sarah Palin "Endangers USA"

I don't know what USA she endangers. Maybe it's his progressive la la land of Utopian dreams and liberal delusions. The proof is in the tweeting that Sarah Palin is an existential threat to liberalism as Monica Crowley once said. She may threaten Keith Olbermann's USA, but she doesn't threaten mine.

Check out this tweet response from our favorite MSNBC loon (Olbermann's response comes after the /):

I'm telling you. It just makes its own sauce!

Read the last line I wrote in the banner for this blog. Am I right or what?

A Tale of Two Warriors

Ron Lipsman writes a piece for American Thinker which fits right in with the theme of this blog. He describes the type of warrior that Obama is and gives us a good picture of an opponent who is weak and defeatable. The classic battle between liberalism and conservatism is one that flourishes with warlike imagery, villains and heroes and strategies that engage the mind on a higher level. So how much more fitting is it that Barack The Barbarian is pitted against Red Sarah, the personifications of our conflicting ideologies.

Lipsman describes Obama's warrior characteristics:
Yet in some sense, he actually is a warrior -- not in any military context, but rather in the classic parlance of the progressive movement. He is an aggressive, motivated, and dedicated soldier in the battle to remake America into a collectivist social welfare state. He struggles mightily to undermine the Constitution, destroy free-market capitalism, subvert traditional culture, and weaken the sovereign nature of the American republic. In this struggle, he belittles his opponents, pursues his objectives relentlessly and engages in elaborate feints and misdirection to confuse and demoralize the opposition.

Sounds like a warrior to me...except that the field of engagement is the political arena instead of a military battlefield. The weapons are words, money, favors, and the media, not guns and missiles. Physical courage does not enter the equation; it is replaced by idealistic conviction, single-minded devotion to a cause, and stubborn unwillingness to entertain the thought that one might be wrong.

Obama and his fellow progressives who are running the country have established the fields of battle in their war to remake America. Moreover, they discuss those fields in military terms, replete with all the implications for national calamity, extensive casualties, and lost opportunities that are normally associated with the winds of war.

Obama prefers appeasement to confrontation. He prefers despots like Chávez or Castro to democrats like Netanyahu. Unwilling to project strength, Obama believes that obsequiousness and understanding will reverse the intent of America's enemies. Some warrior!
Compare him with his opponent who Gary P. Jackson calls a Joyful Warrior:
This brings me back to this simple, but magnificent moment in Virginia, caught on film. When I look at this photo, I see a supremely confident and virile woman. A woman who truly has the bull by the horns. A woman filled with unbelievable vitality. A woman who is in charge. A woman who wields great power.

You know what else I see? I see joy.

Sarah Palin is a happy, joyful woman, and that my friends, is the key to the whole thing. Here is a lady who has had the very worst the hatemongers of the world have to offer up thrown at her. I mean for one year solid the most vile of attacks have come her way. Most people would have stepped back, and maybe went underground for awhile, and certainly, no one could have blamed Sarah had she, herself, taken that route. But obviously, this is a woman who simply isn’t built that way.

Instead, Sarah is the team captain who would lead her high school basketball team to a state championship, playing on a broken ankle, and scoring the final game winning points. This is the young wife who, while working in the rough world of commercial fishing, had an accident that would crush her hand, sending her to the hospital, only to see her return right back to work that day.

This is the PTA mom who thought she could make a difference in her hometown and would eventually turn into a crusader against corruption as both a city councilwoman and two term mayor. This is a woman, who after being appointed the to powerful job as the state’s chief energy and environmental regulator, saw massive corruption not only in the industry she regulated, but within her own political party as well.

This would lead Sarah to the Governorship, and her accomplishments as Governor most certainly speak for themselves, as do the consistently high approval ratings. The highest for any Governor in the nation.

With all of this going on around her, just how was Sarah able to maintain her strength and remain so joyful about life?

Sarah speaks about her faith in God often. Unlike other politicians who seem to be afraid of becoming labeled as a religious extremist for daring to mention their faith, Sarah readily speaks of the strength and guidance she receives from God’s word, and how this strength and guidance serves her as she goes through life. How this helps her as a leader. As with most Americans, faith is the strong foundation that Sarah builds her life upon.

Whether it’s corruption, health care, energy, monetary policy, Afghanistan, the global warming hoax, or any other pressing matter, Sarah always has the courage to take on the establishment, to speak out. To take a stand while others remain timid.

Hemingway called courage: grace under pressure. Sarah Palin is one of the most courageous politicians in the modern era of American politics.
While Obama retreats in the face of adversity (cancelling off shore drilling leases because of the BP spill), Palin advances in a different direction. She takes the position that the BP spill should not deter us from drilling, but in fact should motivate us to drill more and focus more on safety. Palin writes:

All responsible energy development must be accompanied by strict oversight, but even with the strictest oversight in the world, accidents still happen. No human endeavor is ever without risk – whether it’s sending a man to the moon or extracting the necessary resources to fuel our civilization. I repeat the slogan “drill here, drill now” not out of naiveté or disregard for the tragic consequences of oil spills – my family and my state and I know firsthand those consequences. How could I still believe in drilling America’s domestic supply of energy after having seen the devastation of the Exxon-Valdez spill? I continue to believe in it because increased domestic oil production will make us a more secure, prosperous, and peaceful nation.
While Obama would lead his army away from confrontation, Palin motivates them and makes them confident of victory even when going head on against the strongest of opponents.

So far the Obama army tactics are failing. Another Black Conservative writes:

No matter what Palin says or does, the obsessive liberals are there to seize upon every nuance. Even when it is pointed out to them that their obsessive attention is propelling her right into the White House, they just cannot help themselves...
As a foot soldier in her army, I see her as our movement's greatest leader - a Reaganesque figure who has still yet to be fully recognized for all the greatness she possesses.

Huffing and Puffing Again, Are We?

I realize I should never read the toilet paper while I'm on the throne. But I was bored and there it was, another hit piece (feigning shock) from the Huffington Post. At first I thought liberals either live in another world or it's just a parallel universe over there. But after more thought, I realized that it was just another lame attempt to bash Sarah Palin by tearing down her International Council of Shopping Centers convention speech in Las Vegas Sunday. So fire up the smoke machine again and lets give it a try, right Huffington Post?

Jason Linkins piggy backs off a column by Joe Weisenthal on Business Insider. Between the two writers, they found three people who didn't like the Palin speech. This of course merits headlines like "Palin Speech In Vegas Panned By Realtors" or " Sarah Palin Gives Disastrous Speech At Commercial Real Estate Conference, Calls Obama An "Opium" Addict."

There were 30,000 people at the event.

Linkins missed what real estate writer Doug Bardwell wrote:

Heavy applause rocked the room when she declared that "every politician should be forced to operate a small business before being allowed to hold office. Doing that develops a real work ethic," she added. She generated a good amount of laughter as she said "Right now, so many politicians are addicted to opium, that's spelled O-P-M, which stands for 'Other People's Money.' And with that addiction comes the thinking that the money will always be there, and that you can always take it from somewhere or someone else, and not actually have to produce before you receive."

Again, applause was forthcoming as she suggested that "the best thing government can do is to foster an environment friendly to business and then get out of the way, letting business owners do what they do best." She described her position as being "anti-over-reach of government" and preferring instead, the "incentivizing of business to help the community thrive."

Listening to conversations as people left the hall, it seemed that she said all the right things to a crowd of people who desperately want the economy to come back, so their businesses might prosper once again.
Sounds like a real dud of speech there, guys.

The Las Vegas Sun also found some people there with opinions on the speech:

Ryan Olson, a real estate broker from Bellevue, Wash., said he agrees with Palin’s free-market ideas.

“I think she hits the nail on the head when she talks about stopping wasteful government spending,” he said.

Mary Hsu, a real estate investor from San Marino, Calif., said she mostly agrees with Palin’s economic ideas. But she said health care, for example, hasn’t worked as efficiently in the private sector.
Maybe Linkins and Weisenthal heard the speech Sarah Palin gave in a the parallel universe.

Our Sharpest Sword

Ladies and gentleman, the real "Unsheathed" website is here. I am a mere foot soldier in the battle to take back America. All loyalty and unabashed support goes to the one with the sharpest sword and the most surgically precise technique: Sarah Palin.

We are greater in numbers now. We are growing in influence daily because Sarah Palin is our sharpest sword and we are committed to the cause. On July 4 2009, knowing there would be uncertainty about her resignation, as a sign of support I nervously wore my "Say It Ain't So, Joe" t-shirt and got this reaction from some guy in Virginia Beach: "looks like your girl isn't doing very well." Five months later, on December 5, 2009, I confidently wore that same shirt. "My girl," Mr. Virginia Beach, is doing just fine, sir!  In fact she told me she loves the shirt. It is my armor now.

The Tolerance of the Left

The left includes hypocrites and liars who tell us they want social justice, racial equality and gay rights. Yet they give all of our stimulus money to cronies in the banking industry, play the race card at every corner and really don't walk the walk when it comes to their so-called pro gay agenda.

A tweeter named @koopersmith links to this liberal website. This is what he tweeted:

That sounds pretty "liberal" and tolerant to me. I wonder what he would say if I posted something like that about Barney Frank?

Alaska Blogger Hits Palin Over the Head With a Dead Body

First Jeanne Devon trashes Sarah Palin's new book without reading it (It's not out yet, but knowing how liberals do their research from seeing them in action on the Arizona Immigration law, I figured I'd bust some chops). This earns her a good skewering on Moonbattery.

Well this one's even worse. Devon's friend and fellow feetie pajama blogger "Shannyn Moore apparently thinks it's appropriate to dig up the corpse of Wally Hickel and bash Sarah Palin over the head with it," according to God, Guts and Sarah Palin.

I know I shouldn't link to it, but you gotta read this post. Just cleanse your brain with positive affirmations for at least an hour afterwards, though. Psychological chemotherapy you know.

(Update: Huffington Post prints Moore hate piece.)

Sarah The Media Slayer

Use truth as your anvil, nonviolence as your hammer and anything that does not stand the test when it is brought to the anvil of truth and hammered with nonviolence, reject it. - Glenn Beck (j/k, it was really Mahatma Ghandi)

In February 2009, I was scratching my head as I looked at all the negative articles and smears about Sarah Palin that I was seeing online and hearing in the mainstream media. I mean, she lost the election and was now quietly back home in Alaska doing that governor thing that she was familiar with before being plucked out of Alaska for a 57 day whirlwind tour by John McCain. Why all the bashing? The campaign was over. She lost. Then why did the left think they had to keep convincing us that she was no good even after it was over?

Because they didn't want you to know that she was coming back. The left knew the day after John McCain gave his concession speech that they had inadvertently created a monster. The constant smearing and lying about Palin during the 2008 presidential campaign was the catalyst for the explosion that you see today online. Palinistas everywhere!

And those Palinistas were ready to quietly recover, allow Palin time to get re-elected governor in 2010 and be ready in 2011 to jump on the bandwagon again and get our beloved Sarah into the White House.

The liberals knew it too.

They knew that if they did not destroy Sarah Palin that she was coming back for them. You don't lie about a woman with a moose gun and expect to not be looking down its barrel at some point. In their panic, they kept the DNC sanctioned Alaska blogger group together and made sure that Arianna Huffington and Keith Olbermann would be kept in the loop.

They filed or cheerled 25 frivolous ethics complaints against Sarah Palin. They worked with the anti-Palin forces to create a negative caricature of Sarah Palin which still affects her poll numbers today. I can't tell you how many times I've discussed Sarah Palin with people and some of  them still talk about how dumb she is because she said she can see Russia from her house. "It's because the organized smear campaign against her has put out so many lies about her that people like you believe them," this blogger told a friend who has a severe case of Palin Derangement Syndrome.

We Palinistas formed support groups and kept pumping out the positive word about Sarah Palin through websites like Team Sarah, Conservatives4Palin, Texas4Sarah Palin and our personal blogs where we all contributed great quotes to the Sarah Palin movement. Moreso, we now have people in strategic places like the Weekly Standard, The American Thinker and on Fox News. And Palin herself has taken control of the anti-smear campaign by appearing on Fox News and by writing Facebook notes.

But it always wasn't that way. In the early days, we were meeting each other on comment boards before we even established our blogs. It used to work like this: we see negative things about Palin and we flood the comment boards with positive things or we attack those negative comments. It now works like this: Sarah Palin does something, someone writes a negative article about, we write a rebuttal and slam! Everyone in the blogosphere knows to expect a hit if they write a negative piece on Palin that is unfair or based on liberal bias now.

For example, conservative blogger Karen Allen did the usual thing we Palinistas have become good at doing. She unsheathed her sword and took on media lies and myths about Palin's appearances over the last several days.

What's amazing is that Sarah Palin herself became one of us and unsheathed her own sword and went on her Facebook page to do the exact same thing that Karen Allen did! It is so motivating to have a leader that is so in touch with her followers that she understands our strategy to help her and even joins us in implementing that strategy! After months of swarming to comment boards to shout down the liberal loons, astroturfers and Mobies, after months of slamming the left wing bloggers and pundits on our sites and after months of slamming the mainstream media, we have someone to handle our light work for us now: Sarah Palin.

Her Facebook note Research is your friend, News Media. Try it sometime would have made such a great Unsheathed post!

I tease of course about the light work. But the reality is that the liberals are creating their own monster. Sarah Palin could easily hire a staff and keep up with current issues of the day on her own without any prodding. But prod they do and now she's become a total expert on every subject that she discusses as a result. I guess they shot themselves in the foot because they ruined the "she's dumb and has no substance" meme.

I told people in 2008 and I will say it again. If you think she's big now, wait until 2012. She will be a behemoth by then.

The McCain campaign kept her bottled up - she went rogue.

The media slammed her for her Katie Couric appearance - she helped John Ziegler tell the truth in his Media Malpractice documentary.

She went back to govern Alaska quietly and the libs kept her in the spotlight by making up stories that she was more interested in becoming president than governing Alaska. During the few times she left the state to attend state business, the libs went berzerk because the media would cover her and everyone on our side would report on everything she did. Her response? She went to Evansville Indiana and thumbed her nose at them.

The liberals wanted to drive her out of office - so she resigned and became a national political figure. Oops that one backfired didn't it, libs? The same people who forced her out are the ones who now complain about her "quitting." My sides are hurting from laughing because you'd think they'd be happy they got her out of office. But then again, liberals are famous for creating unintended consequences.

They told us she wasn't intellectually curious and that she had no policy substance. She is now giving in depth interviews, speeches deeply laden with political thought and philosophy and producing Facebook notes which would get high grades if they were papers written during post graduate study.

Everything they said she was she has counteracted. She's too extreme - she endorses Carly Fiorina. She's a RINO - she endorses Rand Paul. She's not interested in becoming president -  she goes out and gives 7 speeches in 5 days, all precursors to campaign speeches where she will clearly and distinctly lay out her political philosophy, which in case you haven't noticed is the same as mine.

Liberals keep upping the ante and she calls them with a better hand every time.  Don't dare this woman to go to the moon. She just might do it.

Read more here about how Sarah Palin has taken the Excalibur and now leads us in our efforts to destroy the media myths and take back the shining city on a hill.

Unholstered!

Texas4Palin provides us with an awesome quote today:

"Paul Bedard, who blogs at Washington Whispers for U.S. News & World Report, says that despite the liberal hysteria over Sarah Palin's 'Don't Retreat, Reload' remarks, the former governor 'is not about to holster her rhetorical sidearm'"

I added a great video to go with the quote here:

TSUNAMI!!! Uncovered Lies About Blago and a Marital Infidelity Scandal are Headed Barack Obama's Way. Flooding is Unavoidable.

Just because the judge in the Blagojevich case refused to issue a subpoena for President Barack Obama to testify doesn't mean that absolves the president of any wrong doing. It just means he hasn't been caught yet. He could be one phone call tape or transcript away from being implicated in the scandal if the media does its job properly. He also may be dodging flying plates or maybe even a golf club or two if Michelle Obama happens to pick the latest edition of the National Enquirer.

Based upon what NBC Chicago is reporting, one must wonder with all this smoke if there isn't a fire around here somewhere.
1. Obama may have lied about conversations with convicted fraudster Tony Rezko
2. Obama may have overtly recommended Valerie Jarret for his Senate seat
3. A supporter of President Obama may have offered quid pro quo on a Jarrett senate appointment
4.Obama maintained a list of good Senate candidates
5. Rahm Emanuel allegedly floated Cheryl Jackson's name for the Senate seat
6. Obama had a secret phone call with Blagojevich
Selling Senate seats and shady land deals are the norm in Chicago politics. While many would agree that Rod Blagojevich is not exactly the most credible defendant to ever hit the stand, it goes without saying in Chicago that this type of corruption is about as commonplace as drivers exceeding the 55 MPH speed limit on the Belt Parkway in New York. It's just not that big of a deal in Chicago's legal world.

But in American politics this is huge. It is a tsunami that goes unnoticed as it crosses the political waters. While some tsunamis dissipate before reaching shore, it is still worth noting that something shook in Chicago - most likely a few hands and Vera Baker while Obama was running for state Senate. Should this tsunami not dissipate, expect widespread devastation and flooding.

Oh, and there's more. With rumors floating around after the National Enquirer story about Obama's alleged affair with Vera Baker, UK Today News raises an interesting point. "However, a point that no one can quite understand is why a successful Vera Baker would relocate to the Caribbean within a year of Barack Obama becoming the President of the United States of America." The National Enquirer also is saying that video from the hotel where the alleged affair occured will prove everything.

It gets worse, according to The Left - Watch What They Do, Not What They Say!
Coming out of Switzerland newspaper Le Matin will be releasing videos and emails showing Obama and Baker in compromising positions. The emails are supposed to prove of the affair back in 2004. They say the videos and emails will be released soon.
Hmmm.
