Holy Diver

Race for the morning
You can hide in the sun 'till you see the light
Oh we will pray it's all right

Gotta get away-get away

Between the velvet lies
There's a truth that's hard as steel
The vision never dies
Life's a never ending wheel

Holy Diver
You're the star of the masquerade
No need to look so afraid

Jump on the tiger
You can feel his heart but you know he's mean
Some light can never be seen

We are Political Mercenaries Now

As posted on Conservatives4Palin:
October 5, 2011

Wasilla, Alaska

After much prayer and serious consideration, I have decided that I will not be seeking the 2012 GOP nomination for President of the United States. As always, my family comes first and obviously Todd and I put great consideration into family life before making this decision. When we serve, we devote ourselves to God, family and country. My decision maintains this order.

My decision is based upon a review of what common sense Conservatives and Independents have accomplished, especially over the last year. I believe that at this time I can be more effective in a decisive role to help elect other true public servants to office – from the nation’s governors to Congressional seats and the Presidency. We need to continue to actively and aggressively help those who will stop the “fundamental transformation” of our nation and instead seek the restoration of our greatness, our goodness and our constitutional republic based on the rule of law.

From the bottom of my heart I thank those who have supported me and defended my record throughout the years, and encouraged me to run for President. Know that by working together we can bring this country back – and as I’ve always said, one doesn’t need a title to help do it.

I will continue driving the discussion for freedom and free markets, including in the race for President where our candidates must embrace immediate action toward energy independence through domestic resource developments of conventional energy sources, along with renewables. We must reduce tax burdens and onerous regulations that kill American industry, and our candidates must always push to minimize government to strengthen the economy and allow the private sector to create jobs.

Those will be our priorities so Americans can be confident that a smaller, smarter government that is truly of the people, by the people, and for the people can better serve this most exceptional nation.

In the coming weeks I will help coordinate strategies to assist in replacing the President, re-taking the Senate, and maintaining the House.

Thank you again for all your support. Let’s unite to restore this country!

God bless America.

The Smear Campaign Against Sarah Palin Ends Not With a Bang But a Whimper

One who lives by the rhetorical sword of hatred dies by the rhetorical sword of hatred.

The moment GOP vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin stepped off the stage in Minneapolis, Minnesota, after speaking at the Republican National Convention, there was this horrifying fear and panic that immediately shot up the spines of those in the progressive movement and the media establishment. They flew into a frenzy of lies, smears and innuendo against her, fully knowing that there was little time to get this genie back into the bottle before election day rolled around. Mark that day as the beginning of the smear campaign against Sarah Palin. Mark today as the end of it.

Don't mistake this as the end of opposition to Sarah Palin. That still exists in the mainstream media and is rearing its head more and more in the Republican establishment. But opposition requires legitimate tactics and intellectually honest debate to succeed. The smear campaign is over. Stopping Sarah Palin means having to take her head on now rather than slithering through the weeds and hiding behind unsubstantiated "anonymous sources" to spread gossip and toss out rhetorical garbage that the ignorant and uninformed will feed into.

That's right. The Palin haters in the media think you're stupid. They thought you'd actually believe their nonsense. For those who have bought into their nonsense, you have been had. Those who work hard and don't have the time to do all the research relied on the mainstream media for their information and they were given misleading information intentionally.

This writer commends Team Sarah, Conservatives4Palin, Ron Devito, Gary P. Jackson, Stacy Drake, William Jacobsen, Adrienne Ross, Josh Painter, William Collier, Pamela Geller, Dr. Gina Loudon, Tammy Bruce, Jedediah Bila, Andrew Breitbart, Dan Riehl, Robert Stacy McCain, Whitney Pitcher, Rachelle Friberg, Mark Levin, Rush Limbaugh and the thousands of others who collectively stood up for Sarah Palin and ended the smear campaign that was started up in the Mudflats of Alaska, a Celtic Diva's garden, a girl from Homer's microphone and an Immoral Minority's own personal hell.

The Immoral Minority website is now defunct. Patrick has been kicked off Palingates.com. Shannyn Moore struggles to further her career now that Keith Olbermann is no longer on MSNBC (a Google search on her name shows August of 2010 as her last first page accomplishment). Jeanne Devon earns blood money by collaborating on hit books about Sarah Palin.

The journalistic and pop culture worlds are littered with boats that have wrecked on the rocks of their own Palin hatred. Well known people like Kathy Griffin, David Letterman, Bill Maher, Martha Stewart, Peggy Noonan, Joe Klein, Norah O'Donnell, Mike Tyson, Madonna and others like them have all lost varying shades of respect from the public at large. Their hatred consumed them and it hurt their brands in one way or another.

If negativity is like a cancer that eats away at one's soul, it also eats away at one's reputation. Those who responded to the most existential threat to the progressive movement to ever walk the planet since Ronald Reagan have learned one universal truth: hate damages the hater more than the hated.

We can trace the smear campaign against Sarah Palin from the 2008 presidential campaign, through the frivolous ethics complaints that resulted in her strategically brilliant resignation, through her book tours and speaking engagements all the way up to today where the final last gasp is symbolized by a book by Joe McGinniss which is being torn to pieces by both the left and the right for its lack of substance and documentation.

Conservatives4Palin and Andrew Breitbart reports that it's even worse than the Palin haters thought. The McGinnis Book is a fraud and a hoax. "Now that there is evidence available to the public that shows there isn’t an ounce of proof to back up the claims made by McGinniss in his book, [Random House Publishing] should move to do the right thing and pull it from shelves," Stacy Drake writes in the Conservatives4Palin piece.

If the smear campaign against Sarah Palin was a fireworks show, the closing displays would be duds. Those trying to destroy Sarah Palin thought the McGinniss book was the final nail in Palin's coffin. Instead, it became the final nail in the coffin of the smear movement against Governor Palin.

The death of the smear campaign against Palin parallels the death of the media's ability to keep us from paying attention to "that man behind the curtain." The "One," who would stop the rising of the seas and whose voice boomed hypnotically from the speakers at campaign rallies where people fainted and cried for being in his presence, has had the shroud of mythology pulled away from him by the hard working people in the new media who have taken to the blogosphere and Twitter to present a truth the mainstream media desperately tried to hide for the last three years.

The media's agenda to protect and promote Barack Obama was the motivating force behind their smear campaign against Sarah Palin. They saw her as so viable and electable in 2012 that, even after she lost in 2008, they continued the campaign to destroy her knowing that she'd be back to possibly take down their beloved Barack. To this day, there are still people, even on Fox News and in the Republican Party, who have unknowingly allowed these media tricksters and subliminal manipulators to succeed in getting them to believe that Palin can't win in 2012. They underestimate Palin at their own peril.

Despite this mind crime, Palin's numbers remain strong. Her army continues to grow. Just look at how Organize4Palin continues to expand its scope throughout the country. She is polling in the top tier of Republican candidates even though she has not yet announced if she's running for president. SarahPac is saying she is on the verge of announcing. She was supposed to be living in a trailer park with curlers in her hair if you believed what was being written about her two years ago.

Had the smear campaign succeeded, Palin would have been destroyed by now. Had the trembling tigers - the weak minded amongst the more conservative punditry and within the Republican ranks - stood up for her and took on the media lies, Palin would probably be the front runner right now. These weaklings don't have the guts to articulate that it was the media that was damaging Palin and not her reality show, not "blood libel," not her supporters (Ann!) and not her book tours.

Yet, here she stands viable and electable. And, she hasn't even shown her stuff yet on the campaign trail.

It's becoming obvious to many that the media has lied to us. The failing Obama presidency was easily foreseeable had those in the media just done their jobs and reported accurately on his ideology, his associations, his false assumptions and his lack of experience. At the same time, they tried to destroy the one among us who had the real abilities to be president (vice president at that time) by lying about her.

The media may itself be no longer able to stomach the lies as talk begins to circulate that they may be ready to turn on Obama.

Monty Pelerin at American Thinker writes:
Barack Obama won the Democrat nomination because the mainstream media adopted him and went out of their way to ensure that he, rather than Hillary Clinton, won. As expressed by the Rex Murphy:
American journalism will have to look back at the period starting with Barrack Obama's rise, his assumption of the presidency and his conduct in it to the present, and ask itself how it came to cast aside so many of its vital functions. In the main, the establishment American media abandoned its critical faculties during the Obama campaign and it hasn't reclaimed them since.
As a result, the press gave the great American republic an untried, unknown, and, it is becoming more and more frighteningly clear, incompetent figure as president. Under Obama, America's foreign policies are a mixture of confusion and costly impotence. They are increasingly bypassed or derided; the great approach to the Muslim world, symbolized by the Cairo speech, is in tatters. America's debt and deficits are a weight on the entire global economy. And the office of presidency is less and less a symbol of strength.

To the degree the press neglected its function as watchdog and turned cupbearer to a styrofoam demigod, it is a partner in the flaws and failures of what is turning out to be one of the most miserable performances in the modern history of the American presidency.

A tipping point appears to have been reached in the last month or so. The myth of Obama has ended. There is now open talk from the media that Obama cannot win in 2012.

Just as Democrats don't want a pariah at the top of the ticket, many in the media do not want to continue plugging what is obviously a failed candidate. The protective shield that existed is being dismantled. The press is more interested in saving what credibility they have left, rather than justifying an increasingly indefensible and broken presidency.
The media malpractice that got Obama elected and Palin targeted is a failure. The slobbering love affair is over.

The American people are busy, prone to bad information when they expect truth from an institution that failed them. But, they are not stupid. "Snake oil is never purchased a second time," Pelerin writes. "Instead of the brilliant problem-solving uniter much of the nation believed they were buying, they got an incompetent, small, and not likeable mountebank."

Conversely, if the media was completely out of its mind for running cover for Obama, then it makes sense that the media was completely out of its mind for participating in the smearing of Sarah Palin. Obviously, if they were wrong about Obama, they were wrong about Palin. The haters relied on the established media to push their memes. The gravy train is no more. Turn out the lights. The party's over.

The Palin haters have emptied their arsenals. Their relentless attacks for three years made her stronger. It challenged her to think outside the box about her resignation strategy. It gave her the opportunity to extricate herself from a potentially bankrupting experience at the hands of miserable sacks with miserable lives who's only answer to their own unhappiness was to spend their time and efforts trying to destroy her. She became more successful because of it, not less.

They have fed the beast they so wrongfully tried to destroy. Because of their efforts, Governor Palin is the most vetted candidate ever. Should she run, the "October surprise" will be impossible to conjure. Should she run, impaling her on her record, her character and her work ethic will be a futile attempt. Yes, the Democrats will come after her. They will smear any candidate who wins the GOP nomination. But with Palin, you get a tried and tested product. There will be no surprises. We have the failed smear campaign against her to thank for that.

Though this smear campaign is over, it doesn't mean they will stop trying to stop her. A new door is about to open. New challenges lie ahead for Governor Palin if she runs and gets the nomination. For the Palin army, the fight goes on. For her detractors, trying to defeat her now is going to be even more difficult. The Caribou Barbie days are over. It doesn't stick anymore.

Conservatives4Palin: Are You Ready to Storm the Beaches?

Mary Beth House writes a piece that fits so perfectly with the theme of this blog, I had to put it on here:
I just spoke with Peter Singleton, who many of you are aware is the co-coordinator in the great state of Iowa for Organize4Palin, because I had some questions about the interview he did with Robert Costa over at National Review in this article: Still Waiting for Sarah.

I was especially interested in this part of the article, which you’ll note isn’t quoting Peter but rather paraphrasing him:

However, he [Singleton] says that he will not wait forever, and that his efforts are a “serious” push to establish a movement behind her message, not to be a “fan” or cheerleader.
I had noticed some commenters at C4P took this to mean that he was losing hope and getting discouraged…and I wanted to give him the opportunity to respond to that characterization.
Peter laughed.

“What? Losing hope? Not a chance!”

But what of the article’s suggestion that he won’t wait forever? That he’s not a “fan” or “cheerleader”? Peter clarifies:

“Look,” he said, “if Governor Palin announces she’s not going to run, I’m not going to hang on and hope she changes her mind. I’ll accept it and respect it and my work helping lay the groundwork for a potential Palin presidential campaign will be done. What I’ve done, I’ve done freely and I’m glad for the experience. At the end of the day, Governor Palin will not owe me a thing.”

This is the prevalent attitude amongst those working as volunteers with Governor Palin. Our volunteering, our contributions are done with a heart of a servant, not expecting anything in return.

But what does he really feel about the timing of Governor Palin’s announcement?

“As I said in the NRO piece, we really aren’t all that concerned about the timing,” Peter confirmed.

Then he painted a mental picture for me.

“Imagine, if you will, that this is May 1944. We’re all in our tents in Great Britain. We’re all preparing.

You’ve checked your boots. And checked your gear. Do you have your sidearm? Check. What about your rifle? Double check. How about extra ammo? You’ve packed and re-packed the landing craft. The fellows in the airborne have pored over the maps of the drop zones, again and again.

And as you continue through the laundry list of things you need to do to prepare for the call to hit the beaches…you notice your buddy two bunks over is just sitting there, his arms crossed tightly.

‘Hey pal,’ you call out. ‘Aren’t you gonna get ready?’

‘No,’ he mutters under his breath.

‘Why not? Everyone knows that the invasion is imminent!’

‘Because General Eisenhower hasn’t briefed me on his strategy.’

‘What!?’ you reply incredulously.

‘When are we going? Where are we going to hit?’ he exclaims. ‘What day? These are all things we need to know, and know right now. I’m not going to do a thing to get ready until I hear from the General!’

That scenario is preposterous when you think about it, isn’t it? Because, as soldiers, they all knew they had to be ready. They did know that invading the continent was almost certain and was imminent. But they also knew that they would never be privy to the strategic planning—and should not be. The less people who knew of the whens and the wherefores, the less chance there was of the information being leaked to the Germans. And then what would have happened? The Germans would have been ready and waiting on June 6, and on the beaches of Normandy—and the course of the war and of human history would have been changed.

So we too must look at the election cycle metaphorically as a war.

Today, for us, it is May of 1944. We don’t know when the call will come, only that it’s almost certainly coming…and it’s coming soon.

So our job right now is to prepare for that call so that when the announcement comes…we are ready to go. We’re are prepared and ready for what is to come.

That the “General” hasn’t filled us in on her strategy is no surprise. Secrecy and message discipline is vital in any campaign…be it a campaign for war or a campaign for office. This is could not be more important in this, potentially the most important election in American history.

So the question I throw out there to all Palin supporters is this…

Are you ready to storm the beaches?"
Powder dry? Rhetorical swords sharpened and in their sheaths? Rhetorical rifles clean and loaded?

Let's get ready to roll!

Todd Palin Pulls the Sword From its Sheath

According to Peter Hamby of CNN:
Todd Palin: McGinnis book "full of disgusting lies, innuendo, and smears."

Todd Palin also says McGinnis "has been relentlessly stalking my family" and has "a creepy obsession with my wife."
That metal on leather sound you just heard was Todd Palin pulling the sword from its sheathe. Todd is a man's man and would need little help with disposing of McGinniss (rhetorically speaking of course); but the army is ready and we've already been hitting the comment boards and straightening things out.

What you are seeing here is the last dying breath of a smear campaign that has utterly failed. After three years of trying to destroy Governor Palin, Americans are waking up to the fact that the media lies. They're not buying it anymore. Every lie and every smear that has been hurled at Sarah Palin has been thoroughly debunked. The liberals are down to the bottom of the dumpster. They are scraping up the coffee crumbs of their final last shot at her.

Given all that she has had to withstand over the last three years, she is the strongest, most vetted and most ready of any candidate to take the helm of our great nation. Anyone who can withstand the vile and disgusting attacks that she has and be 3rd in the polls without even announcing (ahead of all announced candidates other than Romney and Perry) has the presidential mettle.

Stand and Deliver

Laura Ingraham and Ann Coulter decided tonight that they would trash Sarah Palin following her best speech since the 2008 VP nomination acceptance speech in Minnesota at the Republican National Convention. Quite frankly, if people on "our side" can't give credit where credit is due, then how the hell do you expect me to get into a foxhole with them if the Republican nominee isn't Sarah Palin?

You see, Democrats stick together no matter what. Even though 75% of Californians believe the country is headed in the wrong direction, they are still going to vote for Obama. But Republicans and conservatives, we shoot ourselves and that's why we lose.

Governor Palin said  in New Hampshire:
We need to talk about media-incited internal squabbles that we can nip in the bud, right here and right now — because we’ve got a lot of work to do, Constitutionalists. Our challenges today are too great. We simply don’t have time to be bogged down in internal conflicts and friendly-fire conflagrations. The time to secure our future and preserve our blessings of liberty and RESTORE our economy is now.
We fell for the Alinsky tactics in 2008. What are we going to fall for divide and conquer tactics in 2012?

If you read some of the nasty stuff being written by people on our side about people on our side, you can understand why Democrats have been kicking our ass. Their guy, who is presiding over the worst economy we have had since the Great Depression can't even speak without a teleprompter (and they were able to elect a peanut farmer and a corrup philanderer to the presidency in the past, but Palin's unelectable!!!!?). Yet his supporters don't waiver.

Then you have Jimmy Hoffa who says "let's take these sons of bitches out." Debbie Wasermann Schulz goes on Fox News and clams up. Jay Carney clams up. Everyone on the Democrat side will not publicly criticize Obama. Everyone on the Democrat side won't condemn Jimmy Hoffa's remarks.

Yet, if Sarah Palin had said what Jimmy Hoffa said or if George W. Bush was the president right now, you could rest assured that there would be Republicans and people on our side criticizing them. How could she say that? How could Bush could get re-elected in this economy? They'd friggin primary him. You don't see Democrats primarying Obama do you? You don't see Democrats backing away from Jimmy Hoffa, do you?

Palin puts a standard campaign target insignia on her website and is accused of shooting Gabrielle Giffords. What does she get? She get's criticized by Republicans because she called the leftist smear campaign against her and the Tea Party a blood libel.

Union thugs beat up a Tea Partier, New Black Panthers threaten to kill white babies and Jimmy Hoffa says to "take out" Tea Partiers. What do they get? Unions get waivers from Obamacare, New Black Panthers get a blind eye from the attorney general and Jimmy Hoffa gets a handshake from the President. What does Palin get for her speech in Iowa? Ann friggin Coulter. Spit.

Come on! If we don't get our shit together and start acting like the adults that we will need to be to take back our country then we might as well start stockpiling our supplies and our money and prepare for the thousand years of darkness that Ronald Reagan warned us about.

I asked a well known conservative blogger who was bashing Sarah Palin and who was arguing with everyone on Twitter about her who his candidate is. No response. Instead he, like Coulter, complained about Palin supporters being so quick to attack when she's criticized. Understand something. It's not that Palin supporters are quick to the sword because "Sarah can do no wrong." It's because we're quick to the sword after watching her being bashed by the liberal media and the elites for the last three years and now we have people on our side doing it when they should be battling Obama.

Where were the conservative and establishment Sarah bashers of today two years ago when the media went after Sarah Palin after the 2008 election? Where were they when the media and the progressive movement intentionally tried to destroy her when she returned to Alaska to govern? They were nowhere to be found. They let the liberals and the media destroy her - drive her from her governorship - and not a friggin peep. Then they have the audacity to call her a quitter? ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?

You can bet your ass if you even look at Palin the wrong way that the hate mail will come flying in and the arguments on Twitter will grow bitter. That's right. Whether you're a liberal or a conservative, it doesn't matter. Palin's army is the most committed and best toned fighting force in the world. We are buff. We are quick to the trigger. Why? Because none of the wussies on our side had the balls to stand up for her when she need the help the most, and even worse, now they're bashing her. Obama's down now and his army still fights.

I want to commend Ron Paul supporters. Other than Palin supporters, Ron Paul supporters will pull the sword and stand up for their guy. I don't agree with Ron Paul. I don't like when Ron Paul supporters bash Sarah Palin. But you know what, I respect that they have balls. They have a horse and they're willing to die for their horse. They will engage you in debate. They know what they stand for. They know what they believe in.

I want that in all Republicans, conservatives and libertarians. When I asked that well-known blogger who his candidate is and he didn't respond, it tells me he's more interested in bashing Sarah Palin than he is in supporting his own guy.

Don't tell me what you're against. Tell me what you're for. If you can't find something that Sarah Palin has said or written that you disagree with, then stand back because you're not delivering. I see people on our side spending more energy bashing Sarah Palin than going after Obama and calling him out legitimately on a record that is piss poor at best.

As for Ann Coulter, you want to back Christie? Great. I'm glad you have a horse (and a big one at that). But you know what? Complaining that Palin needs to fish or cut bait out of one side of your mouth and then supporting someone who says OUTRIGHT that he's not running is a sad reach at a dream that will not happen. Fall in love with the guy who will never love you back, Ann. But don't be bitter and don't take it out on Palin.

Palin skeptics on "our" side, ask yourself what you want. Ask yourself what you want America to look like. If you don't want America to look the way Sarah Palin wants it to look, then go vote for someone else. Go find a good crony capitalist who will return this country to the shithole it was before Obama without the socialism. If that's what you want, then let's bring back Gerald Ford, Bob Dole and John McCain. Maybe they'd be more "electable" than Sarah Palin.

Besides, the two most "unelectable" candidates the Republicans ever ran were named Lincoln and Reagan. Yeah, look how bad that worked out for us.

Go ahead. Look a gift Palin in the mouth. Honestly guys and ladies, if you can find a better candidate than Palin, I'll vote for him or her. Just stand and deliver. Otherwise shut up. Good Democrats know how to keep the lip zipped. Bad Republicans don't.

Barbarians at the Gates of the Shining City

We're drawing closer, folks. Yes, we are barbarians as Joe Biden calls us. We are the Ordinary Barbarians as Rebecca Mansour and the folks at Conservatives4Palin have dubbed us. Joe Biden tries to mock us as terrorists and the New York Times calls us hobbits because we, as true Americans, have come to take our country back from the socialist progressives who are floudering in their attempts at fundamentally transforming our country.

We're drawing so close that "say it ain't so, Joe" Biden has warned the Obama army that the barbarians are at the gates and that they are the only ones who can stop us. Jimmy Hoffa has called on Obama's army to take us "sons of bitches" out.

So sharpen the rhetorical swords and let's get ready to rumble.

Our great leader has told us:
You will be demonized. They’ll mock you. They’ll make things up. They’ll tell you to “go to hell.” But we’ll bite our tongue, we’ll keep it classy, and we won’t respond—as tempting as it is—to anyone who just has such disdain for our free market economy and for individual initiative and responsibility. We won’t say, “No, you go to hell.” No, we won’t say that. You know why we don’t have to say that? Because when we have time-tested truth and logic on our side, we win. And when we refuse to retreat because we know that our children’s future is at stake, we win.
The liars of the left will soon feel our sting.

Onward to victory!

Game on!

Riding the Storm Out

Gospel: Mt 14:22–33

Immediately Jesus obliged his disciples to get into the boat and go ahead of him to the other side, while he sent the crowd away.

And having sent the people away, he went up the mountain by himself to pray. At nightfall, he was there alone. Meanwhile, the boat was very far from land, dangerously rocked by the waves for the wind was against it.

At daybreak, Jesus came to them walking on the lake. When they saw him walking on the sea, they were terrified, thinking that it was a ghost. And they cried out in fear. But at once Jesus said to them, “Courage! Don’t be afraid. It’s me!” Peter answered, “Lord, if it is you, command me to come to you walking on the water.”

Jesus said to him, “Come.” And Peter got out of the boat, walking on the water to go to Jesus. But, in face of the strong wind, he was afraid and began to sink. So he cried out, “Lord, save me!” Jesus immediately stretched out his hand and took hold of him, saying, “Man of little faith, why did you doubt?”

As they got into the boat, the wind dropped. Then those in the boat bowed down before Jesus saying, “Truly, you are the Son of God!”

Sarah Palin: Conquering the Storm

So Why is the Palin Army so Strong?

Three years ago, when Sarah Palin was introduced to the nation, many people from across the political spectrum were electrified by her. The exception to that were those on the left and in the media establishment who were scared blind by the positive reaction the nation had to her. It was an emergency for them. They couldn't beat her on her record or her political positions so they had to go after her and her family personally.

The progressive movement has spent nearly a century infiltrating our country's politics, academia and culture. They were willing to go with Hillary Clinton but Obama was just too attractive and so dazzling to them that they dropped her like a bad habit and shot the works on him. They went all in. The "Shadow Party" felt it could come out now and fundamentally transform this thing with him at the top.

Then she happened.

As the revelations about the Journolist listserv show, the mainstream media was complicit in their efforts to try to destroy her. Remember, they were all in. They were ideologically committed to Obama after decades of Nixon, Reagan and Bush bashing. Why do you think people who don't follow this stuff as closely as we do think Palin said she can see Russia from her house? It's because they are more like Jay Leno's "man on the street" than they are their own thinkers and researchers. They believe what they read at face value. The mainstream media has been playing to these rubes for years by advancing agenda over intellect. Smitty at The Other McCain writes "The Progressive project is predicated upon the notion that the American people are sheep."

James Lewis at American thinker writes:
The Undefeated is a stunning documentary about Governor Sarah Palin against the lynch mobs of the left. These are not overly polite Adlai Stevenson liberals. They are radical throwbacks to Saul Alinsky and Jozef Stalin. They follow Alinsky and the ACORN rules.
More importantly, this is about a lot more than Sarah Palin. It's about money and power. Sarah Palin is the target because she and the Tea Party stand in the way of the progressive agenda. There were billions of dollars in green money (think cap and trade, alternative fuels, funny looking light bulbs, etc.) and investments in the coming of socialized medicine at stake in 2008 when the liberal media opened fire on her with all barrels. These people were about to take a bath if Sarah Palin succeeded in helping John McCain become president. The same can be said for the progressives who want to fundamentally transform America into a European socialist style democracy.

The fact that she hasn't gone away and still stands between them and their progressive agenda is just eating at them. Add to this the fact that negativity is a communicable disease. I don't have a problem with people who disagree with Sarah Palin, I have a problem with people who foam at the mouth and who go berserk at the mere mention of her name. Negativity is the devil's work. It is also reflective. It comes back at you. So when liberals complain that Palinistas are being a little less than civil, understand that the devil is a very crafty demon indeed.

Governor Palin is the antithesis to liberalism and progressivism. Her record in Alaska shows she's capable of busting up our hybrid socialist-quasi crony capitalist system. She is a threat to a lot of people who rely on the status quo that benefits them when wealth is redistributed through the tax code, 50% of the people pay no federal income tax and only those in the know with the right lobbyists and inside connections can get around the government made barriers to being successful. They will stop at nothing to destroy her.

When Governor Palin returned to Alaska, that's when the election should have ended. She should have been able to go back to being governor just as easily as John McCain went back to being Senator. But it didn't stop there.

During the campaign, a documentary group called The Wasilla Project ginned up several malcontents to lie about Sarah Palin and distort her record. For example, they falsely claimed that she made rape victims pay for their rape kits when she was Mayor of Wasilla. Their website was later scrubbed but not until after the "Thank You" page following Obama's win warned its readers to continue going after Sarah Palin because she would be back in 2012. I regret not keeping a screen shot.

After her return to Alaska, Palin was hit with the frivolous ethics complaints, which were filed by malcontents, fueled by the agenda driven Alaska Bloggers and picked up on way too easily by the mainstream media. This was all part of an overall smear campaign designed to destroy this woman., which she short circuited by resigning her governorship and sticking it to the media and the ankle biters by becoming a Fox News contributor, best selling author and sought after public speaker.

This only fueled the growth of the pro Palin movement. Supporters started blogs and websites when they saw Palin under attack. The Left and the media have basically created their own monster and now they struggle to contain it as it pulls the spitting high tension wires down on its way to the city of cronyism and socialism that she is about to destroy. There are hundreds of pro Palin blogs and websites across the internet. See if any of the other candidates have that kind of a following.

Ask yourself, why all the Palin sites? Why all the Palin bloggers and tweeters? The mainstream media attacks on Palin have been like a medicine ball and now her army's rhetorical stomachs are hard. They have become a well toned legion of well practiced writers, researchers and on the ground activists. Because they worked hard at battling with the mainstream media, they have become good at their craft. They strike with lightning speed and laser like precision.

So, when Conor Friedersdorf wrote that article about the empty theater, he lit a match in a foxhole at night and the Palin army nailed him. The Atlantic is a battleship that has been shooting missiles at her for the last three years and Friedersdorf just happened to put out his observation about the empty theater while standing on the deck of that battleship. The Palin army was all over that. He should have know he was going to get hit.

Palinistas are conditioned to be this way after how the mainstream media has treated her. They're committed to the mantra that there will be no free shots. This also applies to those on the right. Those who attack Sarah Palin will feel the wrath of the Palin army not because her supporters are mean spirited like liberals or establishment types, but because her supporters know you can't win a street fight by being nice.

The media will show you what they fear most. The Undefeated is a big deal. It's a game changer. Expect the media to go after it, lie about it and smear it. But after 3 years of fighting, the Palin army has no problem shooting down anything that the mainstream media can say from here on out.

My advice to the media: trash The Undefeated at your own peril. When liberals mess that close to the truth, they always get burnt. Oh, and keep your heads down low. We Palinista's are rhetorical sharp shooters and we fire at the mere thought of lying about Sarah Palin.

Listen to Patrick's World USA on BlogTalk Radio tonight at 11pm ET 8pm PT 7pm AK. Organize4Palin's Thomas S. Schmitz will be my guest to talk about The Undefeated.

CNN's Scumbaggery (Updated)

UPDATED: Since writing this post, CNN has actually did put forth a fair story about The Undefeated.  See 'Palinistas' pleased with 'The Undefeated' (h/t Conservatives4Palin)

I was talking to a friend of mine earlier today and he was telling me that he saw a report that panned "The Undefeated." I asked him if he was watching MSNBC. He said, no, CNN. I said, "same thing."

Then I read this: ‘Ambushed By CNN’: Firsthand Account of Lamestream Reporting At Georgia Premiere of ‘The Undefeated’

These dirtbags who think their journalism degree is a political science degree and who outright admit their biases do us no help when they cover a story or try to ambush a theater full of supporters hoping to turn lemonade into lemons. We could get into the philosophical differences and the psychological reasons as to why they do (which I have on numerous occasions), but the fact of the matter is they are incapable of objectively reporting on a positive event since the square peg doesn't fit the round hole of their useless minds.

If MSNBC claims to lean forward, then CNN should be upfront as well and claim that they lean so far over that their heads are up their asses.

Drawing Swords For Sarah Palin

I began to recognise some regulars drawing swords to defend Palin in the threads at Hot Air.

I was witnessing the emergence of the Palinistas – and, through C4P and Palintwibe and hundreds of other websites they have been fighting her corner ever since, through thick and through thin.

These are the words of David Riddick, aka The Aged P. The story of the Palin army is told eloquently in his article “I AM SARAH PALIN” – An Interview With A Palinista

Huffington Post: Obamamania is Over

Obama 2012 Reelection Campaign: 'Hope' And 'Change' Aren't Enough To Inspire Voters

Jim Kuhnhenn at the Huffington Post points out that it will take more than just "hope and change" this time around to get Obama elected. He goes into the work that will have to be done to re-inspire his base.

One thing we all need to pick up on in the light of the "is Palin electable arguments that are breaking out in the Republican camp, is the fact that it's not going to be about Palin. It's going to be about the media.

Now take this from the HuffPo piece. "Obama political adviser David Axelrod maintains that Obama voters will regain their intensity once they have a flesh and blood candidate to compare with Obama." Let me translate for those who don't how Axelrod grease and the lame stream lying media work: He's saying that Obama voters will regain their intensity once they have a Republican candidate to smear, Palinize, lie about and dupe the American people about WHETHER IT'S PALIN OR NOT.

With all due respect to any of the other Republican candidates and those who worry about Palin's electability, don't you think it really doesn't matter to the left who our nominee is? They will all face the same problem. Expect a dirty campaign from the left. We need to be prepared to go in with sharpened swords and swift and effective battle plans. No nice nice this time around. This is political war!

"They Just Blew Themselves Up, Sir"

@tahDeetz: @ReaganTMan the leftist media just took down in one day, what it took the entire left to build against #Palin since '08

The Palinista army prepared all week. The media was about to receive 24,199 pages of emails that Sarah Palin wrote while she was governor of Alaska. She told Chris Wallace there was nothing to worry about in the emails except that they might be taken out of context. The Palin army hunkered down.

Armed with full battle gear, they watched the enemy. Reconnaissance was easy. The enemy put out a call for mercenaries. They wanted people to peruse the emails looking for a smoking gun. This was it. They were going to reach the culmination of a nearly 3 year smear campaign / sustained bombing attack by exposing an email or emails that would blow Palin out of the game.

The Palinistas assembled, swords still in sheathes. The enemy moved. The emails were delivered in boxes from Alaska. The media and their mercenaries attacked the boxes like they were Christmas presents.

Suddenly you could hear explosions everywhere. The emails were out. Everyone was looking for the bombshell that would destroy Sarah Palin.

Then without firing a shot or unsheathing a sword, the Palin army looked over at their enemy and laughed. It was a belly aching laugh.

When someone asked what was happening, a Palinista simply responded: "They just blew themselves up, sir."

Nearly 3 years of all out assault, lies, smears and innuendo launched at Sarah Palin by the media and it all just blew up in their faces.

Dirt Bag Liberal Great Grey Attacks Guest In My Chatroom

Tonight, Great Grey flew in for a quick hit in the chatroom for my BlogTalk Radio show. This is par for the course. It's how liberals fly. They are stupid, incapable of formulating a legitimate argument because their premise is based on lies and made up philosophies that have no bearing in reality. It's not a surprise that the only way some liberals know how to articulate themselves is to be stupid, hateful and, well, simply low life dirt bags.

I will be documenting everything these people do from now to the election. We know it's going to get dirty. We're ready.

We have the truth on our side - the most potent weapon.

It's a shame they even let these people near a voting booth. Unfortunately, it's their right. So lets outnumber them and outvote them. America cannot survive with their kind of mentality.

Liberals Fire Weak Shots and Palin Nukes Them

The Left thought hit books by Frank Bailey, Geoffrey Dunn, Joe McGinness and even Levi Johnston were going to be the death blow for Sarah Palin. These books were timed for an expected presidential run by Palin. They are being released now as candidates announce for 2012. These poor saps never saw it coming. Palin has been building a nuke and they are about to be obliterated.

Real Clear Politics reports:
Shortly after Republicans swept last November to a historic victory in which Sarah Palin was credited with playing a central role, the former Alaska governor pulled aside her close aide, Rebecca Mansour, to discuss a hush-hush assignment: Reach out to conservative filmmaker Stephen K. Bannon with a request. Ask him if he would make a series of videos extolling Palin's governorship and laying to rest lingering questions about her controversial decision to resign from office with a year-and-a-half left in her first term.

[...]

Though she did not have any editorial role in the project, Palin facilitated access for Bannon and his film crew to key Alaskan defenders who were involved with the major achievements of her administration, and the filmmaker spent several weeks in the 49th state gathering archival film and conducting research and interviews for the project. He and his team took extraordinary measures to keep their endeavor secret.

When they requested from Alaska's TV news stations footage that was shot during Palin's political rise, they asked for additional tapes containing subject matters that were irrelevant to their project, in order not to raise suspicions. And rather than staying at the well-appointed Hotel Captain Cook in Anchorage, they instead took up temporary residence in low-key motels.

"We shot on the weekends, and we shot in locations that weren't being used during those weekends," Bannon said. "I did it with a handpicked crew of people I know and trust, and we were able to stay under the radar. The planning for the secrecy of this took many, many weeks."
The film is titled "The Undefeated." This is clearly the ultimate political "Manhattan Project." The liberals didn't bring a knife to a gun fight. They brought their heavy artillery and Palin still has superior fire power.

This is nothing short of pure genius on Palin's part. She knew what the big boys in the media were planning. Expect this movie to be an electro-magnetic pulse that basically shuts down the liberal meatgrinder on her.

Palin didn't retweet. She really did re-load!

Palin Hit Parade is a Bust So Far

When the 2008 presidential campaign ended, liberals may have been celebrating their victory, but deep down inside they trembled with fear that the phenomenon known as Sarah Palin would come back and take down their beloved Barack Obama in 2012. They hoped to beat her into obscurity with lies, innuendos, hit pieces across the mainstream media and frivolous ethics complaints. Instead, they made her stronger by conditioning her with their vitriol and mockery. The culmination of that failed effort to destroy her is here with the release of four books, the first two or three which already look like duds.

These books are timed to come out just as candidates are announcing their presidential bids for 2012. The intent is obvious, if not laughable. If Sarah Palin was the ethically challenged lightweight that they are trying to convince us she is, people with normal brains would have figured that out already. There would be no need for Geoffrey Dunn, Frank Bailey with the help of mud-lapper Jeanne Devon, Joe McGinness or Levi Johnston to even bother making anything up. The truth makes its own gravy. Only lies require artificial color and flavor.

Geoffrey Dunn’s lies, The Lies of Sarah Palin, was trashed by a liberal Huffington Post writer in the Christian Science Monitor. Kelly Nuxoll writes (h/t Texas4Palin):
It seems that everyone has something to say about Palin, not least Geoffrey Dunn, an investigative reporter and Huffington Post contributor who has regurgitated the political bile of the last two election cycles in 400-plus pages of unsubstantial but toxic prose. “The Lies of Sarah Palin” is an extended ad hominem attack with little fresh information, analysis, or insight. Readers sympathetic to Palin will likely find that Dunn’s dismissive tone confirms the worst characterizations of left-leaning media. Readers not sympathetic to Palin may find that Dunn’s argument misses the mark.

[...]

His indignation might be more persuasive if he offered new or compelling information for his charges; however, the bulk of his case against Palin is built out of conversations with people who don’t like her. The result doesn’t feel so much like rigorous reporting as a transcript of the seventh grade.

Frank Bailey’s book Blind Allegiance to Sarah Palin has made him the subject of an ethics complaint and an attorney general investigation. "The Alaska attorney general's office says it's investigating a charge that former Sarah Palin aide Frank Bailey wrongfully used state emails as the basis for his coming book slamming the ex-governor.," according to the Anchorage Daily News (h/t Lori Calabrese at US4Palin). How fitting that Jeanne Devon would be accomplice to such a violation if he was ever charged or convicted because of it.

Levi Johnston’s book is expected to end up in the children’s fiction section of the library. The mere fact that the Left would even drag this dwebe out to do their dirty work is indicative of a desperation streak that the liberals have demonstrated throughout the nearly three years since Palin hit the trail for the McCain campaign. Suffice it to say, if the Right had some bitter kid with an axe to grind over a lost love who was the poster child for how not to self improve, they wouldn’t be stupid enough to use him on Obama if the roles were reversed.

Speculation on Joe McGinniss’ book is that it will also be seen as a partisan hit piece from an aging writer well past his prime.

Rational people will see through the garbage on bookstore shelves. Regardless of their political beliefs, agree or disagree with Palin, most good hearted people who don’t have self-esteem issues will be skeptical of anything these "writers" have to say. The days of “oh my God, could it be true?” are behind us now as thousands of hit pieces lay in the garbage or in cesspools after people found better use of them than for reading. Every hit piece put out has been thoroughly debunked to the point where they are either forgotten or clung to by bitter lefties who wouldn’t know what to do with a Bible or a gun if they had one.

So for those Palin supporters who fear what might be in these books, fear not. The Left and the media have dug so deeply through the Palin’s trash that if there was something there, they would have already found it. For those who hate her, keep on hating. But, you will find yourself disappointed that these hit books will do nothing more to help your case other than to maybe piss off enough conservatives to vote for her for president so that the you get the best crow on the menu come inauguration day.

It makes sense that Geoffrey Dunn would write a book. He has no credibility to begin with. Why Frank Bailey would risk the scrutiny of the Attorney General's office is another thing. Levi Johnston furthers his spiral down the toilet bowl of life. Then you have Joe McGinniss who chooses to spend his later years destroying all the credibility he once worked so hard to establish. All of this says a lot for how Sarah Palin forces the devil to reveal himself in the burning red eyes of his mouthpieces. If Linda Blair’s green puke from the Exorcist could be put into words, you will find it on the pages of these sad, pathetic people’s books.

Sarah Palin rides to the sound of the guns

James Pethokoukis: Palin in Madison - Veni, Vidi, Vici

Palin rides into Wisconsin, sword unsheathed and goes to head to head with the Wisconsin Teacher's Union, the GOP establishment and Barack Obama.
Sarah Palin rides to the sound of the guns. It was a chilly, wet and blustery afternoon in Madison, Wisconsin — one more appropriate for a late-season Packers game than a springtime political rally. The stirring NFL Films theme, “The Classic Battle,” would’ve been a more apt musical choice than Van Halen’s “Right Now” to accompany Palin as she entered the stage outside the state capital building to address thousands of Tea Party members, along with a good number of extremely hostile, expletive-hurling government union rowdies.
Read more of Pethokoukis's column here.

Sarah Palin goes where the battle is. Dan Riehl adds to the imagery that best describes our Alaskan warrior:
Whether it's talking about death panels, or blood libel, to now showing up in Madison - that's not former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin. As I said to a friend and colleague tonight, wherever the current battle is, that's very often where you can find Palin. One of the first requirements for leadership is to show up out front. No one will ever accuse Palin of not doing that. Doing so also has an interesting side benefit for any would be leader. When you lead, people tend to follow and support you, even if not at first.
Ride fearlessly into the dark night and we will follow you into morning in America, Sarah.

Trig Truthers, maybe you ought to try to find Obama's birth certificate instead

We all know about the derangement of Jesse Griffin, Palingates, Andrew Sullivan and Joe McGinness when it comes to myth making and story telling regarding Trig Palin. Their cockamamy story that Sarah Palin is not Trig's real mother have been passed around like a venereal disease amongst the Palin hating class since 2008.

Enter so called "professor"  Bradford Scharlott of Northern Kentucky University. This dirtbag has written an "academic paper" with the help of Jesse Griffin of the Immoral Moronity Minority blog trying to prove something that never happened. Julia O'Malley of the Anchorage Daily News sets the record straight:
The journalists, including me, who covered Palin at the time believed she was pregnant because she was pregnant. Even before the announcement, she seemed to be putting on weight. She wore baggy jackets and scarves. Before the announcement, she acted nervous when photographers tried to take her picture. Later on, her face filled out. Her fingers swelled. She had a noticeable belly. And it wasn't made out of foam.
Consider that nonsense debunked.

There is a great post by Robert Stacy McCain at The Other McCain blog which you should read here. There is also a post here which is linked at Conservatives4Palin.

A lot of conservatives are trying to quiet everyone down about the birth certificate issue. But this is not about being a birther or trying to portray the conservative movement as a bunch of extremists. This is about tactics, folks. This is about throwing elbows.

As long as the liberals want to throw marbles and tacks on the floor and laugh as we all fall down, birtherism to me is a bananna peel we set for the left. I'm not a birther; but I'm all for turning Alinsky's rules on them.

My advice to the Trig Truthers I mentioned earlier: why not spend all your time and put that level of effort into finding Obama's birth certificate? You just might find they come up empty handed on that conspiracy as well.

Little Fella

So Sarah Palin's a twat, huh Bill Maher?

"I’ve been inundated with requests to respond to petty comments made in the media the past few days, including one little fella’s comment which decent people would find degrading." - Sarah Palin

Get it, Bill?

Sarah Palin: "Mind if I Borrow Your Sword, Whitney?"

Whitney Pitcher wrote a fantastic piece today on Big Government entitled Dismantling the NYT’s Misrepresentations of Governor Palin’s Record where she just ripped the New York Times to shreds, rightfully so, for blatantly distorting and twisting Sarah Palin's record as governor in Alaska. No good sword goes unsheathed as Palin's army goes to battle for the woman who will save our country. It started early this week with a bunch of seemingly coordinated hit pieces with Politico and the Alaska Dispatch front and center. Then they were smacked down by the Palin forces. Whitney was the Palin warrior of the day. To top it off, Sarah Palin herself quoted Whitney in her Facebook Note.

What was Sarah Palin's Facebook note about? It was about the same topic Whitney wrote about on Big Government. As "Gabrielle" was jamming the sword in, lo and behold here comes "Zena" riding in, pulling out the good ole Excalubur and BOOM! Fall down, New York times; you're dead.

In doing so, the good Governor used Whitney's piece to drive home her point.

Sarah Palin knew Whitney had her back. Whitney now knows that Sarah has her back, too.

Great job, Whitney.

The Political Realignment of The Palin Wing of the GOP (Updated)

-cross posted from Patrick's World USA

The Republican Establishment can no longer protect America from the Left

There are a lot of folks pining for the good old days. The only problem is it depends on which good old days we are talking about. While true conservatives and die hard Reagan Republicans long for the days of 7-8% economic growth, falling inflation and unemployment and a capital market where the spickets were open and the money flowed to those who earned it, RINOs, blue bloods and crony capitalists long for the days when the GOP was just a better vehicle by which to bypass a truly merit based free enterprise system to earn wealth and status than the Democrat party was. Sarah Palin presents a problem for the Karl Roves, Peggy Noonans and Tucker Carlsons of the world because the coalition that they need to keep the GOP the party of cronyism is realigning.

The Tea Party, traditional Reagan conservatives and now some lower and middle class moderates are finding that the Republican Establishment has been lying to them all these years by pretending to be conservative when all they are really are non-liberals looking for steady legs for their elitist perches. Those steady legs have been us the American people. Now those legs are wobbling a bit and they don’t like it.

These are the same types of people who didn’t like Reagan in the 1970’s. They only liked him after his economic policies kept the economy strong enough so that people would be distracted from trying to knock them off their perches.

America is not the meritocracy that it should be. One could picture the horror on the faces of blue bloods if they were made to sit in an opportunity seminar to hear people who were once plumbers, teachers or construction workers talk about how they became successful. It’s not supposed to happen that way in their world. You’re supposed to get to where you are by who you know, not what you know. And if you do happen to get there by what you know, you will only be accepted by them if it’s because what you do fits their definition of “intelligence.”

Watch the horror on their faces as they sit in the opportunity seminar that will soon be the Republican primary. Imagine how they will scramble to defend their outmoded world view should Sarah Palin run. They’re not interested in saving the country. They’re only interested in saving their own hides. Their interests are not our interests. When they see members of the what used to be their core constituency (the silent majority) realigning with someone like a Palin, imagine how shaken they will become.

The Establishment will have nowhere to go. They are not liberals. They don’t believe America should lose its place in the world and they don’t believe in socialism. They’re the real center in this country as they straddle the fence of big government and a strong private sector. They want both the power and prestige of government and the wealth and privilege of the private sector because they believe that capitalism can be controlled by those with the proper pedigree and the best seats in the power house of government.

They want capitalism to work, but only when they call the shots. In China the communists control the capitalists. In America, they want the capitalists to control the communists. Either way, something other than the invisible finger of a true market controls capitalism and this perverts it.

Republican elites oppose Democrat elites in the country club politics of who gets what seat, but ultimately they make deals with each other so that the game can continue. Citizen politicians are just as big of an enemy to them as progressives because both are trying to destroy the power supply. The Republican Establishment right now acts like Barack Obama is the enemy, but they know the biggest threat to their power is conservative activists, the Tea Party and citizen politicians. These people were the middle class schmoes who used to vote for them, make excuses for why they should have power and money and tell their kids to go to Harvard as they grabbed their lunch pails on the way to their jobs at the construction site.

The Establishment Elites look down on the little guy. The little guy is starting to catch on.
Now these same people are saying something totally different. In fact, they’re afraid to send their kids to Harvard because they don’t want them to turn out like the soul-selling Potomac water drinking Republicans they once thought were good.

We don’t need Karl Rove, the architect of a Bush presidency that gave us the financial crisis and didn’t solve the problem of Iran the way they did Afghanistan and Iraq. Don’t get me wrong, George W. Bush kept us safe from Terrorism without pat downs and feel ups at the airport. But there was a mentality. The blue bloods still had a lot of pull in the system. That system rewarded cronyism and kept the doors closed to those who were not insiders.

The only difference between the Bush Establishment and the Liberal Establishment is that the Bush Establishment destroys things by sins of omission and the Liberal Establishment destroys things by sins of commission. Case in point: Freddie Mac and Fannie May. The Bush administration didn’t pay any attention (remember, there are fat cats on their side too) and liberals like Barney Frank and Chris Dodd were collapsing the system right under their noses. Bush didn’t do anything to clean out the corruption over at Freddie and Fannie.

Are these the people you want to pick the Republican nominee for president? What is the sense in booting Obama out if we’re just going to go back to the same old bull that we had before Obama came in?

Replacing socialists with crony capitalists is not going to fix the country. This requires something different. This requires someone that’s going to go into the halls of power and start flipping some tables. This is going to require someone walking over to entrenched bureaucrats and financial regulators and telling them point blank their fired; the days of big government are really over.

Who in their right mind would listen to Karl Rove after all his cronies have put this country through?

If the Establishment doesn’t want to accept the fact that “the times are a changing” and that real Americans who don’t “play the game,” kiss ass and go to the right cocktail parties are finally coming to power after a century of mind games, media manipulation and outright deception on the part of the Left, then so be it. Let’s beat the Establishment straight up in the primaries. We don’t need the Establishment to protect us anymore from progressivism. We can do it ourselves. They have failed.

We are like “new progressives” who understand that a little AstroTurfing, infiltrating academia and the pop culture, taking control of the new media and finding new sources of financing is our way of saying to the Left "hey thanks for teaching us the tactics but no thank you on the socialism."

We need our Alinskys, our versions of Van Jones to counter the Left. We have the Koch brothers who clearly articulate what we believe about cronyism. "Both Democrats and Republicans have done a poor job of managing our finances," George Koch writes. "They've raised debt ceilings, floated bond issues, and delayed tough decisions." I pray the Koch brothers do for the right what George Soros does for the Left. We need to beat them at their own game!

Some on my side are going to say, well we’re better than that. Yes we are. We are actually smarter than them too. I see the elitists in both parties the way they see me. I see them as stupid, ignorant and dangerous.

I can’t tolerate watching Tea Party activists protest peacefully, clean up after themselves after rallies and work hard to teach people how to run for office only to be smeared and lied about in the mainstream media. Our system right now punishes success and rewards failure. I can’t tolerate watching union thugs assault women, reporters, activists and the entire democratic process which brought Scott Walker into a second term legitimately through a fair election.

We shouldn’t tolerate it anymore. We can't sit back and let them bust our heads. I'm not saying go out there and look for confrontation. We are still the adults in the room. We will always be good people. But, you know what, we have to get in these people’s faces when they get in ours and tell it to them straight: you are destroying our country! We have to defend ourselves when attacked.

We shouldn’t be afraid of the media anymore. I’m not fighting this war with one hand tied behind my back. Yeah, I cursed some guy out on Twitter the other day.  I said something harsh. And the response was “hey look at this Tea Party guy, he’s violent.” I wasn't going to sit there and let him call for people to spit on Sarah Palin because they think we’re too wimpy to stand up for ourselves because “we’re afwaid of the media.” Screw the media.

If someone wants to push someone down, we should push them back. And if someone wants to spit on people, I'm spitting back. You either engage in a civil discussion in the arena of ideas or you prove that you are not worthy of our restraint. You have choice, liberals. We don’t listen to the media anymore. They can denounce us all they want. Since the media is going to accuse us anyway, we shouldn’t be afraid to defend ourselves. We short change ourselves by being overly paranoid about our rhetoric because the media jumps on stupid crap like cross hairs on a map but yet they do nothing to cover union thuggery in Wisconsin. Homie don't play that.

This whole thing needs to be reset. We need to clean both houses, get the government off the backs of the people and start everyone at Go. Let the free market and the capitalist system determine the winners and the losers and let the government stick to the basics – national defense, proper law enforcement and the role of the court system as the referee to assist us in peacefully resolving our civil disputes and to interpret both the civil and the criminal law from a strict constructionist position. Stop with the stupid legal interpretations, health care schemes and bailouts of the crony capitalists already. No wonder people are frustrated.

If the Republican Establishment won’t get behind the true fundamental transformation, which is restoration and renewal, we will never get past the false fundamental transformation, which is the redistribution of wealth and the retention of power. In defeating Barack Obama, the Establishment can either throw monkey wrenches into the Tea Party operation or the candidacy of Sarah Palin or they can join the fight and accept the new positive direction that commonsense conservatives want to take this country.

They can point their fingers all they want at the Tea Party. They can complain the Tea Party can’t run candidates who are electable and turn it into a self fulfilling prophesy. They can continue to allow themselves to be duped by the media because they want to be accepted. Or, they can put the Slurpees down and join with a movement that could crush the Left if only they would pitch in and help – even if it means getting behind someone like Sarah Palin. The train’s moving. They should either get on board or get the hell out of the way.

This is not about leaving the party or going third party. It's about giving the Republican Party one last chance to get it right. If they were smart, given how well the Establishment did prior to Obama, they'd let the ones with common sense drive this time.

This country isn’t going anywhere until we truly accept commonsense Constitutional conservatism, true free market based economies and a disdain for cronyism. If the Establishment doesn’t get that, than let them go realign with the liberals for all I care. They may tell you they don’t like liberals. But they won’t tell you that it’s been their way of running government when they had the chance that has allowed the liberals to come to power. Remember, it was the Establishment who gave us George W. Bush and John McCain. It was the people who gave us Ronald Reagan.

So it's time to stand up and forget what the media tells you. Forget about the resignation or the Saturday Night Live skits. Forget about gravitas and who gets to decide who’s smart and who’s dumb. Forget the poll numbers, which are only a circle jerk of media dogs chasing tails (the media tells you Palin sucks, you believe it, you answer a poll question, the media reports that Palin sucks based on the poll).

Mark my words. Save this post. It will be the Establishment’s fault if we don’t win in 2012.

They can whine all they want about Sarah Palin. But there isn’t anyone else out there that's willing to flip the tables and get everyone back to the starting line so we can run this thing right again. If they can’t put anyone up that’s better than Sarah Palin, then they need to join us. This is an important win. In 2012, we will decide whether we will end up like a hybrid Egypt just waiting for communism and Islamic-fascism to close the deal on our complacent butts or we will show true courage and restore our constitutional republic based on the blueprint handed to us by our Founders.

Keep flashlights on hand with plenty of batteries. The thousand years of darkness is a long time. If we blow this, we might as well all just pack it in, go home and milk whatever version of America we get because the real America isn’t coming back. This is our last chance.

Update: Tucker Carlson has since apologized for his sexist tweet.

Chopping Up a Manuscript

So far, this is what we have on a lying manuscript about Sarah Palin that Frank Bailey and Jeanne "Mudflaps" Devon have been trying to pitch for the last 18 months:

Stacy McCain on Frank Bailey

"Must be nice to get your book proposal promoted by Politico, you worthless two-faced backstabbing crapweasel."

Governor Palin in response to a stupid article on Wonkette resulting from the manuscript:

Trouble in Paradise: Bailey and Company Blame Creepy Joe for Leaking Manuscript

Remember what Rob Harrison told us. Look for the smoke machine.
we need to find ways to make another point to the electorate: watch the smoke. Watch the smoke and realize that it keeps changing—the color and direction are never the same twice. The storylines keep shifting, new accusations keep being made—often contradicting previous accusations. One might start to wonder if all this smoke is in fact coming from the Caterpillar‘s famed hookah, given the way it seems to enable one to believe six (mutually) impossible things before breakfast. Watch the smoke and realize it’s all implication, allegation, suggestion, prediction, and third-hand claims; realize that for all the smoke, no one has yet actually found any fire. Watch the smoke, and learn the real lesson: when there’s a little smoke, or a fair bit of smoke, yes, there’s probably a fire; but when the smoke just keeps on billowing by without a hint of a spark or any cinders on the breeze, stop expecting a fire—and look for the smoke machine.
Guys, she's running for president. They are not going to stop because they are scared to death of her. Which version of Sarah Palin are you going to believe?

The Calm Before the Palin Storm

I realize it’s a good thing that Dana Milbank is leading a boycott on reporting about Sarah Palin because it gave him time to really screw up a piece where he is claiming that what John Boehner and the Republicans are trying to do would mess up the economy even moreso than it is now. Rush Limbaugh took him to task today. Milbanks is still way out there. He's just not directing it at Palin this month. Thankfully, Washington Post’s Dana Milbank doing fine during month-long Sarah Palin detox. You have to admit, though, that the silence is eerie. For Palinistas, it’s like dealing with dry land after being on a ship pounded by waves for over two years.

There are others who are also staying quiet. For the last two weeks, aside from your normal Time Magazine, US Weekly or Rachel Maddow commentaries which quote from comedy pieces on Palin as fact, most of the anti-Palin stuff has been normal analysis or rebuttals to her comments on Egypt or the budget. Yes, they’re actually talking policy for a change. It’s refreshing to see how a media environment devoid of PDS does a body good.

Even the pro-Palin sites are running out of material. Texas4Palin yesterday responded to an article that was critical of Palin about her Egypt policy. There was no debunking of myths about daughters shacking up with boyfriends, husbands visiting prostitutes, hair falling out or books being banned. It was purely intellectual stuff in support of Palin’s policy position. Conservatives4Palin took Shannyn Moore to task yesterday – not for something outlandish she said about Palin but rather for something she said about Lara Logan. Today, all their material is devoted to criticizing President Obama.

The Palin enemies still prove what they are made of even during their silence on Palin. They are still able to fire off negative venom at other enemies in their unbalanced ways. This proves that for the last two and a half years, it really hasn’t been Palin. It’s been them. As they turn to other targets, you still see the vitriol and you still see the unhinged liberalism. It would be nice if people remember who the boycotting voices are now so that we know who they are again when they come back to ruin our discourse.

It's too bad those writers and pundits can't be ignored from here on out. It would be nice to let the honest people debate about Palin. We want to know why she resigned. We want to know why she battled the establishment in Alaska. We don’t want to hear that she’s a quitter or that she’s a loose cannon. Those kinds of comments are not intellectually honest.

Yeah, we still got a writer out there that’s trying to say "the largest number of Palin supporters are 'birthers.'" The mainstream media is also touting polls that don’t portray Palin favorably. But, hey, not all loons can keep it zipped for a month. But notice how in the absence of heads spinning, green vomit and satanic voices about what mothers can do in hell, Sarah Palin actually seems quite normal. Her name is mentioned along with other potential 2012 GOP candidates as reporters and pundits give honest assessments about their chances and play the “flavor of the day” game which has always been a part of media speculation long before Palin was in a national race.

It would be nice to think that Sarah Palin can walk amongst us again without being blind sided by lying bloggers who get their keyboard spittle up the flagpole to outlets like MSNBC or the Washington Post. It would be nice to think that she can write an op-ed or make a statement during an interview and have it discussed rationally and logically, even disagreeably if done so honestly, without the loud clatter and annoying background noise of deranged journalists at left wing publications throwing out all kinds of mind pretzels to keep the focus off what’s real.

But that isn’t going to happen. February is over in two weeks. As we near “announcement time,” you can expect the usual players to start sounding like that band in Frank Zappa’s song “Joe’s Garage” again. All hell will be breaking lose. The Palin army will fly in formation with their websites and blogs firing away, flack everywhere, as they take on the incoming lobs from the unhinged liberal media once again.

Clean your weapons and keep your powder dry, Palinistas. The army continues to grow and the battle looms. Enjoy the normalcy now while you can. The time is coming when we will be rhetorically bleeding and skewering in the name of our nation’s next great leader.

Tweets That Threaten Violence To Sarah Palin

If you don't understand the difference between metaphor and hyperbole and actual calls for real violence, check out the video below. That stuff is real.

If you still think it's the Right that is causing all the problems, go get psychiatric help before you hurt someone.

Report From the Front: Effective Enemy Tactics Take A Toll

Two of our important fighters have been hit by an effective psychological operation embarked by our enemies. Our leader has also been wounded in a friendly fire incident. All are expected to survive.

Steve Kornacki showed us the tactic in November when he explained on Salon.com "If Palin is going to be stopped -- and she absolutely can be -- it will have to come through the handiwork of conservative media outlets and opinion leaders."

Since then, they have been planting the seeds of doubt in our own minds. See how they did it to Erick Erickson of RedState here. I elaborate more on it here.

Ted Nugent wounded our great leader in a friendly fire incident after walking into a trap set by Anderson Cooper.

Come on troops. Stop falling for their tricks.

We can overcome this. Let's pick ourselves up and get back out there and fight, baby, fight. We didn't come this far and spend this much time and energy to give up on taking back the shining city on a hill now.

America, Who are We?
